who we are…
As a ministry of Beachpoint Church, The WAVE exists to help develop students and parents as authentic followers who love God one another and the world, through excellent, Christ-centered preschool and school-aged care.
The WAVE at Beachpoint is deeply interested in the spiritual growth of your child. We share Christian principles through age appropriate everyday experiences, as well as weekly chapel times. We strive to create an atmosphere of love and understanding in which your child may know more about God’s love for them through the everyday world. We provide small group learning activities and opportunities for individual exploration through play and discovery that enhance the developmental process.

our preschool and school-age care
The WAVE Preschool & School-Age Care is in operation from the Fall through the Spring seasons with additional Summer programs.
Our Preschool program is offered to children from ages 2 to 6 years old. We feel that a child’s first experience in a school setting should be in small groups, enabling a deeper personal relationship with each child. Our classroom sizes are kept to a minimum as we specialize in keeping our children safe through age-specific cohorts with the same grouping of other children daily. See more about our specific rooms on our Classrooms Page. We focus on teaching all aspects of preschool development including motor skills, curricular activities, and social-emotional skills.
We provide diaper changing services for those children needing it, for a small fee. Our lunch and snack programs provide nutritionally balanced meals for your preschool children. Find more information on our Parent Resources Page.
Our School-Aged program offers a safe place for your child to attend before and after school. The staff walks the children to and from Tamura Elementary School, which is adjacent to our property, and meets students from Fulton Middle School half-way. The program offers a homework room, an afternoon snack, weekly chapel, as well as playground and indoor play time.
Our care program is open to all children regardless of color, race, ethnic background, or faith. We are licensed by the State of California, Department of Social Services, license #300600313 and 304270549.
